Utidia is a combination of two words — Youth and Dia — abbreviated as Utidia. “Dia” is an ancient Greek word meaning “passing through a process,” which perfectly captures what we stand for — learning by doing.
At Utidia, we believe that to truly develop Africa’s human capital and workforce,
young people must learn through real-world experience. That’s why Utidia exists
to give African youths access to meaningful work experiences, digital apprenticeships, and projects that help them grow professionally and become employable.
Through our flagship program Work4Xperience, youths can gain real-world experience by working on real projects from real organizations — all free to access through the Work Task Board.

Our Story (Youthup Global)
Utidia is an initiative of Youthup Global, a youth-focused social enterprise founded by Dr. Faith Nwaobia
After spending six years job hunting post-graduation before securing his first decent job, Dr. Faith’s journey opened his eyes to the deep-rooted challenge of youth unemployment and lack of practical work experience in Africa.
This experience inspired the birth of Youthup Global — a platform dedicated to empowering young Africans through skills development, digital apprenticeship, and employability pathways.
Through Utidia, Youthup Global is now democratizing access to real-life work experiences, giving every African youth the opportunity to learn, work, and grow — regardless of background or location.
