Our client is seeking a Senior Developer to join their team in Jersey City. You will work on developing object-oriented solutions using Python, RESTful APIs, and Angular, while integrating with databases such as Oracle (Exadata) and no-SQL stores.
Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Employment Type: Contract (12+ months)
Pay: $68/hr
Work Authorization - W2 Only
- H1B candidates accepted if willing to transfer to Experis W2
- No C2C or third parties – this includes hourly referrals
Key Responsibilities - Develop object-oriented software using Python and other OO languages (Java, C++, C#).
- Build RESTful web services and data-grid centric UIs using Angular.
- Design and enhance SQL databases and queries.
- Develop data transfer tools from no-SQL to Oracle databases.
- Contribute to Agile software development and full SDLC.
Requirements - 6+ years of object-oriented programming experience.
- 3+ years of Python development.
- Strong SQL database design and tuning skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, Angular (15.x+), and Git.
- Knowledge of financial instruments or price verification is a plus.
- Exposure to grid computing, object-oriented databases, or TDD is desirable.
