Job Summary

W e are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packing/Shipping Clerk to support warehouse operations in a climate-controlled environment. This onsite role involves preparing and packing specialized gas cylinders and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage physical tasks efficiently.

 

Job Description

  • Follow all established safety policies and procedures.
  • Pick products from inventory based on order specifications.
  • Label cylinders and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Pack equipment and gas cylinders per customer and operational requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring segregation of materials.
  • Perform basic maintenance and visual inspections of equipment and packaging.
  • Document activities via lot cards and/or computer data entry systems.
  • Assist with secondary quality assurance by conducting visual checks on materials and products.

 

Skills Required

  • Ability to read and interpret order preparation and shipping documentation.
  • Experience using computer-based scanners and inventory systems.
  • Capable of frequently lifting and handling items up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 10 feet.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Must be safety-conscious and committed to following all PPE requirements.

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED

 

Pay Rate

  • $19 per hour

 

Additional Requirements

  • S hift: 8am - 5pm EST
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing and manual dexterity are required for packaging
