**Job Title: Pipe Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled welder with strong fabrication abilities. This role involves TIG welding, specifically working with heat-resistant stainless steel types 304, 310, and 330. You will be building the body of units using torch tools, bandsaws, and grinders, as well as operating and maintaining basic power tools, magnet drills, band saws, and forklifts safely and efficiently. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately is essential. **Responsibilities** + Perform TIG welding on stainless steel 304, 310, and 330, ensuring high-quality welds. + Build unit bodies using specified tools and equipment. + Operate and maintain basic power tools including grinders, drills, saws, and forklifts. + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. + Use T-square and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and alignment. + Identify and correct errors or inefficiencies in work processes. + Collaborate with management to prioritize tasks and address production challenges. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in structural welding, including TIG, MIG, and stick welding. + Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel welding. + Ability to perform 5G and 6G pipe welding. + Skilled in using band saws and power tools. + Blueprint reading and interpretation skills. + Proficient in using measuring tools for precise fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding Proficiency: Ability to perform MIG welding with clean, strong welds. + Tool Expertise: Skilled in using angle grinders, drills, magnet drills, plasma cutters. + Equipment Operation: Certified or experienced in operating forklifts. + Project Facilitation: Capable of planning and executing fabrication projects. + Problem-Solving: Quick to identify and implement solutions for fabrication issues. + Time Management: Strong ability to keep projects on schedule. + Communication: Clear verbal and interpersonal skills. + Safety Awareness: Knowledge of shop safety practices. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term position with a focus on project-based work. Projects are designated and facilitated to ensure that timelines and quality standards are consistently met. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Corona, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
