**Hello! We are currently hiring for SMT Operator here in Tempe, AZ!** **Job Description** This role involves working as an SMT Operator within a clean room and ESD controlled environment. The position requires handling operations of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines, with no hand soldering responsibilities. **Responsibilities** + Load proper parts into SMT machine. + Adjust, set-up, and operate machines when shorthanded. + Perform basic programming at the machine, including selecting programs. + Read and comprehend English. + Be willing to work overtime when required. **Essential Skills** + High School Diploma. + 1-year experience in the setup of SMT components on feeders. + Ability to interpret Engineering documentation. + Proficiency in setting up all types of feeders based on SMT setup sheet. + Experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English. + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and computer literacy. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience running multiple lines at once is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** + Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) with matching, dental and health insurance, a health savings account, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement. + Additional perks include paid sick time, paid time off, retirement plans, vision insurance, and on-the-job training. + Experience a supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth. **Work Environment** + Work in a clean room environment where standing is required for 90% of the day. + Operate under a microscope and wear proper clean room and ESD attire. + The standard attire includes comfortable flat closed-toed shoes, jeans or work pants, and a capped sleeve plain t-shirt. + The position follows a first shift schedule from 6AM to 2:30PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
