We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple cybersecurity domains including Threat Intelligence, Security Monitoring, Penetration Testing, and Cloud Security. The ideal candidate will assist our team in day-to-day security operations while developing practical skills in a fast-paced SOC environment.
What you'll be doing:
Shadow SOC analysts during security incident monitoring and triage activities
Assist in reviewing security alerts and conducting preliminary investigations
Support threat intelligence gathering and analysis processes
Help document security procedures and create reports
Participate in security testing activities under supervision
Assist with vulnerability scanning and basic security assessments
Support cloud security monitoring activities
Contribute to security tool development and automation projects
What we're looking for:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and network fundamentals
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Python and Golang preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Curiosity and eagerness to learn about cybersecurity
Advanced understanding and/or experience working in a Cryptocurrency/Blockchain/Fintech/Finance Trading domain preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SIEM tools and security monitoring concepts
Understanding of basic penetration testing methodologies
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with security tools
Interest in pursuing cybersecurity certifications
