Job Description

We are looking for Cash Register attendants to join our team in a counter service restaurant. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of orders. You should be able to handle fast-paced work environments and remain calm under pressure.

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Take customer orders and enter them into the cash register.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit and debit card transactions, and provide accurate change.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized front of house area including the dining and service areas.
• Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed, such as putting together customer orders.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, such as food hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assist with cleaning duties as assigned, such as bussing tables, dishes and taking out trash.

Skills:

• Proven experience in a customer service or cashier role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay calm in a high-pressured environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
