Job Description

We are a private household looking to hire an experienced Private Chef to provide healthy, nutritious meals for our Southampton home. This is a one month seasonal role, commencing August 1st through September 1, 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience working in private homes. Must be detailed oriented and a strong sense of hospitality and full service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Creating fresh, healthy, natural meals from scratch
Daily meal preparation for lunches, dinners, snacks
Conducting household inventories and procuring supplies, including grocery shopping
Maintaining neat appearance of kitchen and service areas
Responding to special requests, errands, and related duties as needed
Schedule: Tuesday – Sunday, Mondays OFF

Requirements
Excellent references required from current and previous employers
Minimum 2 years related work experience in a private residence
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; additional language skills a plus
Organic-seasonal cooking style is a huge plus
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Utmost sense of discretion
Professional, polished, and poised at all times
Comfortable working around children
Valid driver’s license is required
Must have valid US work authorization
