Pilates Instructor

SUMMARY:

Pilates classes concentrate on core strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness through controlled movements and specific breathing techniques. The emphasis on precision and control in Pilates helps build a deeper connection between mind and body, making it beneficial for individuals seeking better functional movement and injury prevention.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in ensuring the highest value of instruction and programming is provided to Bronx House OAC members
• Teach evening classes based on the agreed-upon schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to convey the exercises and regressions to a group of individuals with varying fitness levels
• Must be enthusiastic, with a passion for fitness and helping members live fit and healthy lives
• Must possess a strong commitment to collaboration and effective teamwork within the organization

Salary:
$35-45/hr
