The role is part time working 32 hours per week.

Summary

The Nurse Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing and efficiently hiring qualified employees for assigned areas of service who embrace Lee Healths mission and values. This position may also recruit for other healthcare titles. The Recruiter develops and implements comprehensive recruitment plans, utilizing traditional, innovative and creative recruitment strategies, to attract top talent to ensure current and future staffing needs are achieved. This work is done in collaboration with HR leadership, department leaders, talent acquisition partners, workforce planning and in alignment with Lee Health strategic goals and Human Resources strategic plans. In addition, the Recruiter integrates knowledge of human resource management with expertise in business practices, care delivery systems and healthcare trends, to design and manage recruitment initiatives. Specific responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing, creating and extending job offers, developing recruitment plans, advertising/marketing, building relationships. Actively participates in recruiting events, candidate data-base searches, promotional campaigns, job fairs/conferences and other programs to source, promote and attract diverse talent. Delegates tasks or assignments to recruitment assistants regarding requisition and candidate management, recruitment efforts, scheduling interviews, or other related duties. Serves as liaison between employment agencies/search firms and hiring departments. Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree required. Associates degree with five or more years of relevant recruitment experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree.

Experience:

Minimum three years related experience in Recruitment, HR generalist or strong human resource related experience with experience in a healthcare setting preferred (Nursing/Allied Healthcare recruitment experience).

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, be flexible, creative, and innovative and be able to promote and sell Lee Health to potential candidates. Some travel required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recruitment data, business periodicals, procedures, or governmental regulations. Must have the ability to effectively negotiate, communicate and present information and respond to questions from clients (hiring managers, candidates, key executive stakeholders). Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel PowerPoint, Internet).
