Could you be the full-time onsite Methods & Tools Industrial Quality Engineer in Hornell, NY, US we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your industrial quality and digitalization expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll drive impactful improvements in data quality, processes, and digital tools to enhance industrial quality standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (IT department, industrial teams, and quality control teams), deliver industrial quality standard trainings, implement new ways of working, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Managing Industrial Quality Methods & Tools activities, processes, and performance,

  • Developing and deploying processes, tools, and quality standards (e.g., Quality Control Plan) with industrial teams,

  • Ensuring detection improvement through the implementation of innovative digital tools,

  • Delivering Industrial Quality Standard Trainings to staff members,

  • Managing activities related to car history books, including traceability and configuration,

  • Defining workstation audit planning, ensuring adherence, and building improvement plans at the site level based on REX (Return of Experience),

  • Developing and maintaining Standard Quality Boards.

  • Degree in engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical),

  • Experience or understanding of quality processes in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment,

  • Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and specifications,

  • Familiarity with a variety of test equipment and digital tools,

  • Experience with digitalization and industrial quality management processes,

  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for continuous improvement.

In accordance with New York State law, the anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 . The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation.
