Shift: Night Shift (Shift 2)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 10 Weeks
Scheduled Days: Sunday, Friday, Saturday
A long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift contract assignment. This role requires a compassionate nursing professional with strong clinical skills and experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation environments. The position follows a consistent weekend-heavy schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility standards and state regulations.
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or provider.
Document all care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately.
Support residents with ADLs and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Respond to urgent or emergent situations in alignment with facility protocols.
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and the care team.
Active, unrestricted LPN license .
Prior experience in long-term care, SNF, or rehab strongly preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts consistently.
Strong assessment, communication, and time-management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently on night shifts.
