Housekeeper Location: McLean, VA Excellent Opportunity in a Gracious Private Household A prominent client in McLean, VA is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to receive hands-on training and mentorship from senior team members in a collaborative and professional environment. Your Role As Housekeeper, you'll work alongside the Lead Housekeeper, assisting with daily housekeeping duties caringfor fine furnishings, performing laundry duties, and supporting the residences' daily rhythm. A willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and pride in your work are key to thriving in this role. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily and deep cleaning throughout the home Learn proper care techniques for fine surfaces, artwork, antiques, and luxury materials Help with laundry, ironing, folding, and organizing closets and drawers Support meal prep (such as chopping vegetables or setting the table) Participate in household errands and assist with organizing supplies Help with guest service when the principals entertain Qualifications Some prior housekeeping or hospitality experience (private home experience a plus, but not required) Takes direction well and is eager to learn Friendly, hardworking, and respectful with a team-player mindset Discreet and trustworthy, with a sincere interest in private service Strong attention to detail and takes pride in a job well done Able to communicate clearly in English Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Compensation, Benefits, and Schedule: Hourly rate: $30$40/hour, based on experience and skill set Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, 401(k) with match, and more Typically, MondayFriday, approx. 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (or similar) when principals are not in residence The principals are willing to guarantee either 35 or 40 hours/week depending on your preference.
