Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide variety of white-glove events, from large celebrations and gatherings to community engagement and fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage event logistics, including venues, catering, décor, entertainment, and participant accommodations, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Develop and track event budgets, timelines, and resources, while recommending improvements for efficiency and impact.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee inventory and sales at events, maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the marketing team to drive effective community outreach.
  • Manage financial tracking through invoices, receipts, and documentation promptly, maintaining compliance with internal processes.
  • Continuously explore best practices in event management to enhance programming and participant experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Events expert. You have a bachelor’s in hand with at least three years of event planning and execution, preferably in a community-driven diverse environment.
  • On the go. You have access to a car and can accommodate time-sensitive tasks.
  • Organizer. You thrive on turning complex plans into smooth, memorable experiences, keeping every detail on track.
  • Storyteller. You are an excellent communicator with a skill in crafting experiences that leave a lasting impression across a diverse audience.
  • Versatile. You are tech-savvy, with experience using event management, and additional software tools.
  • Navigates change well. You handle shifting priorities, unexpected challenges, and tight timelines with grace and confidence. You are able to adjust your schedule to meet event’s needs.
