Share with our guests the beauty, history and culture of Hawai'i! Description: Provides excellent customer service over the phone, through email and in person to our guests, various wholesale agencies and vendors. Fulfills the reservation needs of our guests and pro-actively sells our tours, packages and products. Accurately accounts for all reservations and revenue coming into the department. Utilizes the company's customer service standard when communicating with guests, agencies and vendors over the phone and in person. Provides guests with pertinent information such as price, restrictions, routes, etc. for the various tours. Actively upsells, creates, monitors and maintains all reservations for the tours and packages. Utilizes strong communication skills and ability to multi task in a high volume, fast paced environment. Works closely with the electronic reservation system and the register system. Responsible for ordering from various bus companies' vehicles used for transportation to and from Waikiki and creating the daily manifest used by all other departments in the company. Greets and checks in guests for various tours and packages. Instructs guests on tour restrictions and locations of various tour depots and other points of interest on the property. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years' experience with customer service required. Experience in the hospitality industry preferred. Experience working in a call center or at a phone bank with multiple phone lines preferred. At least 1 year experience with computers and applications such as Excel, Outlook, Google Docs and Word. At least 4 months experience in cash handling. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, and must be able to problem solve quickly and effectively. Schedule: Full Time.
