Our strength lies in the diversity of our people and their ideas, inspiring the innovation that defines everything we do. Here, you won’t just join something—you’ll contribute to something meaningful. We are in the midst of one of the largest and most complex SAP transformation projects, a multi-year initiative to upgrade our current ECC platform to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of this transformation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency at every stage.

Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale SAP implementations, leading multi-disciplinary teams across global locations, and collaborating with both employees and contractors. This role requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate complex ERP transformations while driving efficiency and innovation. Key Responsibilities: This position requires leading and managing the end-to-end execution of the SAP transformation initiative, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and industry best practices. The Senior Project Manager will partner with executives, business units, IT teams, and external vendors to define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables. Managing global, cross-functional teams, including employees, contractors, and third-party consultants, is a crucial part of the role. The selected candidate must optimize resource utilization while maintaining cost-effectiveness and ensuring project deadlines are met. Identifying potential risks, assessing impact, and implementing proactive mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions will be key to success. Regular reporting, status updates, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership, steering committees, and key stakeholders will be required. This role also ensures compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This role is an opportunity to drive one of Apple’s most significant SAP transformations. It requires an individual who is strategic, results-driven, and capable of leading in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years leading large-scale SAP transformation projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing people, with a focus on leadership and team development.
  • The ability to guide, mentor, and support experienced project managers in achieving project goals and organizational objectives.
  • A proven track record in managing ERP implementations in complex and dynamic enterprise environments is essential.
  • Strong experience leading global, cross-functional teams consisting of employees, contractors, and third-party consultants is required.
  • An in-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related technologies is necessary, along with proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid, and experience using tools like JIRA.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation abilities, are critical.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideal candidates will have experience with SAP cloud solutions such as SAP BTP and SAP Analytics Cloud, as well as digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies, system integrations, and SAP business process reengineering is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and security standards within an enterprise environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in change management and business process transformation to ensure seamless adoption of new SAP systems is also valuable.
  • SAP certifications such as SAP S/4HANA Project Manager, SAP Activate, PMP, or equivalent will be considered a strong advantage.
