The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following:
1.0 Objectives : The musician shall provide music support for public worship to enhance the assembly or congregation.
Tasks:
1.1 The musician shall maintain a record of Monthly Performance a log of all work performed under this contract and provide a copy of this log to MMI no later than the 1st day of the month following the month in which the musical support service was performed.
1.2. Task Heading.
1.2.1. Pianist Musician Services- The Musician shall provide Pianist/Keyboard Music Support Services for Alcance Spanish Protestant congregation, including preludes, postludes, offertories, and accompaniment for the singing of hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs. Services will also include musical support for the choir, as well as background music for meditation, prayers, and communion. The Musician shall perform contemporary, Alcance Spanish Protestant style music. The Musician's efforts shall contribute to creating an atmosphere of praise and worship designed to uplift, inspire, and engage the audience.
The ability to lead the congregations in heartfelt worship through powerful and emotive playing is essential. Whether accompanying the choir or leading a solo, the pianist must excel in improvisation and be able to play by ear for all Faith/Denomination. Their improvisational skills will enhance the worship experience, allowing for spontaneous and spirit-led musical expressions that resonate deeply with the congregations. 52 regular services starting at their respective times listed in 1.2.3 Not to exceed an hour and a half each. Rehearsal services are an hour and a half weekly.
1.2.2 The Musician or their representative shall maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance appropriate for religious worship services and other activities as outlined in this SOW while performing under this contract. At a minimum, attire should be business casual, which excludes shorts, sleeveless shirts, and jeans with tears or holes. This dress code is to ensure professionalism and respect within the context of religious services and associated activities.
1.2.3. Musician shall perform music in accordance with the following schedule:

OIF Veterans Chapel
Sunday Rehearsal
12:00 P.M.- 1:30 P.M.
52 Regular Rehearsals
Sunday Service
2:00 P.M.- 3:30 P.M.
52 regular services
1.2.4 . Musician Pianist/Keyboardist shall participate in rehearsal services.
1.2.5. The Musician shall perform at all scheduled services and miss no more than 2 yearly.
