Job Summary - 

Periop 101 Operating room training program

Job Overview :

The Registered Nurse is expected to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administer medications accurately and safely. Document according to policies and procedures and demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

Required:

• Active valid New Jersey RN license
• Periop training includes classroom and clinicals
• ASN 
• BLS through the American Heart Association AHA 

Preferred:

• BSN OR must be willing to sign a 5 year agreement to obtain your BSN
• ACLS or must ibtain within 30 days of hire

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day shift, 40 hours per week 

Essential Functions:

• Ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care.
• Perform, adapt, and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures,
• Administers medications accurately and safely,
• Documents according to policies and procedures.  Performs, demonstrates and documents technical skills specific to the nursing unit,
