Highly skilled C++ / Angular / AWS Expert with a strong understanding of data center infrastructure aligned to CDCS (Certified Data Centre Specialist) standards.

The ideal candidate will architect, develop, and optimize high-performance, cloud-native applications that bridge on-premises data centers and AWS cloud environments.

This role combines deep technical expertise in systems programming, front-end frameworks, and cloud infrastructure with an architectural awareness of data center reliability, redundancy, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Design scalable system architecture using C++ for backend compute-intensive components and Angular for UI.
2. Migrate/host workloads on AWS following Well-Architected Framework.
3. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
4. Ensure adherence to CDCS principles - power, cooling, redundancy, and operational standards for critical workloads.
5. Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Networking teams to ensure end-to-end reliability.
6. Optimize resource utilization and maintain system availability 99.9%.
7. Document architecture, operational workflows, and disaster recovery procedures.
8. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 7 10+ years of experience in full-stack development (C++ backend, Angular frontend).
• 3+ years hands-on AWS cloud experience.
• CDCS Certification (Certified Data Centre Specialist) or equivalent knowledge in data-center architecture preferred.
• Proven experience in building mission-critical or low-latency systems.

Optional Add-Ons / Desirable Skills:

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
• Knowledge of CDCP/CDCE (complementary to CDCS)
• Familiarity with container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or OpenShift)
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)

Performance Metrics:

• Application uptime 99.9%.
• Deployment frequency and CI/CD success rate.
• Code quality (SonarQube / static analysis metrics).
• Mean time to recover (MTTR) from incidents.
• Adherence to CDCS and AWS Well-Architected principles
