Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner** to work at a facility in **Williamsburg, VA .** These are _registry_ positions with our company. **Pay Rate** : $170 / hour *1099 Assignment : + Available to start immediately + 3 -6 month assignment with the potential to extend + Full-time, 40 hour a week commitment with assigned office hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm + Not approved for overtime + No weekends, no holidays, no on-call duty + Requires a 30-day notice to terminate the contract before the end of the assignment Qualifications : + Autonomous license + Experience working with an acute adult inpatient population + Experience serving as Head of the Treatment Team + Comfortable working on an admissions unit with rapid turnover + Experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and forensic evaluations for competency restoration + Willing to provide cross coverage to other units if needed + Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary treatment team + BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required Inpatient Adult Population + Acute, adult, inpatient wards (male & female) + Forensic, NGRI, Civil patients + Long-term length of stay + Caseload: 40 patients per provider + Admissions/Discharges: 0-3 per month + PCP coverage provided + Full complement of interdisciplinary team members If interested, please apply through this job post.
