Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Neurosurgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Provide direct patient care, including on-site coverage in the Operating Room, Emergency Room, inpatient units, and clinic. 
• Supervise, teach, and support staff and neurosurgical team members. 
• Participate in weekly conferences and departmental meetings (e.g., Grand Rounds, QA, M&M). 
• Provide Neurosurgery Clinic coverage as assigned. 
• Participate in research initiatives and departmental projects as directed by the Chief of Service. 
• Attend Director of Service and Critical Care meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery by the American Board if Neurological Surgery (ABNS). 
• Completion of a Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship.
• Active and unrestricted New York State Medical License. 

Per Diem Rate: $125 per hour*
