SUMMARY:
The Museum Educator will work under the supervision of the Science Education Manager to deliver and assist with the development of educational programming to visiting school groups as well as youth programming through camps and classes. These will be either facilitated classroom-based experiences in the sciences or hands-on learning stations located throughout the different museum exhibitions. Programs will cover all areas of science, including health and wellness, marine science, astronomy, chemistry, physics, engineering, and computer science.
SALARY: $18.72 per hour with Full benefits

Work time will be split between working in an open office setting and, on the floor delivering programs. Occasional exposure to outdoor activities may be requested. Weekend and evening work in alignment with programs is sometimes required.
