Seeking an experienced Home Care Manager that is located in Tega Cay, SC. This management position is responsible for providing some direct care as well as conducting marketing and outreach directly to prospects, hospitals, physician offices, rehab clinics, senior organizations, and the like to help us grow our business and partnerships. 

We are private pay and provide private duty skilled and non-skilled services for the senior population. Base salary with monthly commission/incentive opportunity. This position may assist with on-call and work some weekends as it is a 24/7 operation. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Home Care or senior care as well as management and marketing confidence.

Position Summary:

• Responsible for managing the Tega Cay, SC location. Focusing on growing the number of clients we serve and assisting in the management of team members of the Home Care branch. 
• Will deliver some person-centered care based on the needs and interests of clients while preserving their dignity and quality of life. Provides hands on care, proper and timely administration of medications and treatments, accurate verbal and written reports and rapid response to any/all emergency situations. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs professional and restorative nursing services which include, but not limited to, client assessments.
• Keeps timely documentation of written reports and verbal reports ensuring that quality care is provided.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living as follows in the guidelines as outlined in the Care Plan including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
• Participates in and attend all required in-service training and education sessions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Expected Hours of Work:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. 
• This position will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and ability to push up to 250 pounds independently.
• The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living.
• This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.

TRAVEL: Travel is expected and required for the proper management of the Tega Cay location and marketing to prospective clients.

• Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous management experience.
• Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
• Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment. 
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
