Job Summary:
Toyota South Atlanta, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Express Technician to join our service team. The Express Technician will be responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and routine vehicle inspections. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Conduct multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or services to customers.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain service recommendations and provide accurate cost estimates for repair work.
- Identify and report any additional vehicle repair or maintenance concerns to the service team or supervisor.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools, equipment, and supplies are properly handled and stored.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Express Technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension.
- Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
