Job Summary: The Correctional Officers with MCSO will facilitate booking, identification, release, classification and monitoring of occupants at Milwaukee County Jail, a maximum-security facility. They will perform this process properly, maintain a safe and secure facility. Assist law enforcement, courts, attorneys & prisons. This job exists to ensure occupant rights from the time of booking until release and to ensure safety and security of the occupants, the staff and the community. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Process occupants through booking, identification, classifying, housing and release. Review arrest information, determine the validity of the arrest documents.
