Required Qualification:
36 months of experience in business intelligence (BI) development doing data querying, report generation, and BI solution creation.
36 months of experience in data analysis doing data interpretation and data management.
36 months of experience in data visualization doing dashboard and report creation in Power BI.
36 months of experience in data communication doing presentation and explanation of data analysis methods and results.
24 months of experience in data extraction doing SQL querying and validation.
24 months of experience in data modeling doing trend and pattern identification.
24 months of experience working on application integration or data integration initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Working with the project manager, ITS manager, technical team members, and other project stakeholders to perform tasks related to data analysis, data interpretation, and data management in support of agency operations.
Support the creation, development, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and general data analysis deliverables that are used to identify trends, deliver insights, monitor agency operations, and evaluate the impact of agency initiatives.
Support the creation of agency-wide best practices and standards for data analysis and data management.
Fulfill customer requests for ad-hoc report requests, data extracts, or general data analysis requests.
Analyze, clean, and interpret data from disparate sources for inclusion into written reports, measuring data findings against the criteria, critical benchmarks, and objectives identified and defined by Executive Leadership and in alignment with the agency's strategic plan.
Evaluate data sources to determine any limitations in terms of reliability or usability. Perform data extraction, aggregation, and quality checks.
Work with various stakeholders to develop and build models in support of analytic use cases; identify trends and patterns in data sources.
Perform the tasks of major assignments related to the analysis and interpretation of data used in the development of recommendations for improved performance.
Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation.
Understanding of data governance frameworks.
