Job Description

Rehab United is seeking qualified Athletic Trainers (ATC) to join our team for a youth soccer event at Surf Cup Sports Park. This event will take place on October 12th, 13th, and 14th, featuring age groups up to U15. We are looking for professionals who are ready to provide top-notch sports medicine services, ensuring the safety and care of young athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Tape and treat athletes as necessary before sessions and events.
• Assess and treat athletes on-site and provide emergency treatment as needed.
• Monitor assigned fields/courts and stay alert to any incidents.
• Document injuries and care provided, and ensure communication with medical personnel.
• Provide home care instructions and follow-up on rehabilitation.
• Prepare and update on-field first aid kits and manage water and ice supplies.
• Coordinate supply requirements with the Athletic Director.
• Communicate effectively with coaches and staff via walkie-talkie.
• Establish and adhere to concussion management protocols.
• Report major injuries to the designated contact at Rehab United.

Requirements:

• Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing.
• Ability to float between sports and adapt to varying needs.
• Professional demeanor, punctual, and adaptable.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Event Schedule:

• Sunday, October 13th: 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM (1 Trainers Needed)
• Monday, October 14th: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1 Trainers Needed)
