This is not a conventional admissions position. You won't be confined to a desk sending templated emails or buried in administrative tasks. Instead, you'll conduct impactful family tours, establish trust with prospective parents, and facilitate a seamless, tailored admissions process. Simultaneously, you'll maintain a safe, compliant campus environment that consistently welcomes students and families with professionalism.
Alpha is a K–12 private school reimagining childhood education. We combine adaptive applications with expert Guides to provide personalized, mastery-based learning that prepares students for life beyond standardized testing. What You Will Be Doing - Conducting personalized, high-conversion family tours that communicate Alpha's three commitments and build confidence in our educational model.
- Designing and implementing proactive outreach strategies with prospective families to advance them through the admissions process.
- Maintaining rigorous safety and safeguarding standards to ensure a demonstrably secure environment for students and families.
- Managing all facilities-related functions, including preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and repair management.
- Analyzing data continuously to optimize processes and enhance both operational performance and enrollment results.
What You Won’t Be Doing - Being limited to a single, repetitive administrative function or isolated department.
- Operating under rigid, hierarchical micromanagement that limits your autonomy.
- Dealing with bureaucratic obstacles that hinder meaningful progress.
- Concentrating solely on paperwork, detached from the students and families you support.
Admissions Counselor Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of a seamless, high-impact admissions process while ensuring a safe, efficiently-run campus environment, allowing Alpha to expand and fulfill its commitment to families.
Basic Requirements - Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
- 1+ years experience in school admissions or enrollment
- Experience working with children/students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence, initiative, and self-management.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
- Must be available to work in person in Palm Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Piedmont, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Roswell, GA or Raleigh, NC.

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
