The International Foundation for Ethics and Audit (IFEA) is a non-profit organization that supports high-quality, international audit, assurance, quality management, and international ethics and independence standards for professional accountants in the public interest. It does so through its two standard-setting boards, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA). These boards develop and issue their standards and related pronouncements independently and under their own authority.

POSITION SUMMARY

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting IESBA staff on projects and other initiatives to support their departmental needs.

  • Supporting and conducting research and analysis for staff-driven standard-setting projects, and organizing information into clear, accessible formats for internal use or presentation.
  • Assisting with budget-related matters.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and graduating in 2027 or 2028.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills.
  • Self-starter with an agile mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and communicating progress.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage projects and work independently.
  • Flexible, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom), as well as social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, willing to take on projects and ask questions as needed.
This will be a hybrid position with both in-office and at-home work. This is a paid position with an hourly rate of $25-$30 (Primary Location – NYC).
